Pennsylvanians To Vote In Pair Of Key Congressional Primary Races In Philadelphia Suburbs

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- A pair of congressional districts are in play during Tuesday's Pennsylvania primary, including the 8th District, where Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick is not seeking re-election.

While Fitzpatrick is stepping down, his last name will still be on the ballot, as his brother, former FBI agent Brian Fitzpatrick, is one of three candidates seeking the GOP nomination, along with neuropsychologist Joe Duome and longtime County Commissioner Andy Warren.

The two Democrats are fighting tooth and nail for the their party's nomination; State Rep Steve Santarsiero is up against chemist and business owner Shaugnessy Naughton.

In the heavily gerrymandered 7th District, it's a far right primary challenge for incumbent congressman Pat Meehan from Montgomery County business man Stan Casacio. The winner there will face one of two Democrats in the fall; Mary Ellen Balchunis or Bill Golderer.
