Pennsylvania State Police Issue Amber Alert For 16-Year-Old Girl

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (CBS) -- Pennsylvania State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 16-year-old girl who police say was abducted from her home in Wilkes-Barre around 11 p.m. Thursday night.

Authorities are searching for Jenea Patterson. Police say she was taken from her residence on East View Drive.

Officials say Patterson is a 16-year-old black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5'4", 120 pounds and is wearing gray yoga pants and a multi-colored t-shirt.

Police say she was abducted by Walter Lewis, a 21-year-old black male. Authorities say he is 5'5", 130 pounds with black hair and was wearing a gray and black hoodie.

Officials say he is believed to have a black handgun and is considered armed and dangerous.

Police say the two left the scene on foot but may be driving a red car.
