PennDOT Announces Upcoming Lane Closures In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—PennDOT announced that daytime lane closures are scheduled in Philadelphia for the week of Jan. 20-24 for a series of bridge inspections.

The closure schedule is:

Monday through Wednesday (Jan. 20-22): The left lane will be closed on southbound I-95 between Enterprise Avenue and Route 291 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday (Jan.21):  The right lane will be closed on northbound U.S. Route 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) Inner Drive between Rhawn Street and Strable Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday (Jan 22): The right lane will be closed on southbound Route 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) Inner Drive between Strable Street and Rhawn Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.;

Thursday/Friday (Jan. 23-24): The right lane will be closed on the southbound I-95 off-ramp to Bartram Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thursday (Jan. 23): The right lane will be closed on southbound I-95 between Castor Avenue and Interstate 676 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Additionally, the right lane will be closed on northbound I-95 between Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 1 in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, on Sunday through Wednesday (Jan. 19-22) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for Intelligent Transportation System structure installation.

PennDOT says drivers in these areas should allow more time for travel because there will be delays.
