Penn Students Party Hard -- At Least According To Playboy
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Those Ivy Leaguers sure know how to party.
Playboy has released its annual list of the nation's top party schools, and (surprisingly) the University of Pennsylvania took top "honors." It's the first time an Ivy League school has ever made the list, let alone snagged the top spot.
"Smarties can party too, and UPenn puts other Ivies to shame with its union of brains, brewskies and bros," the magazine writes, citing the school's Spring Fling celebration.
Second place went to the University of Wisconsin, and notorious party school West Virginia University came in third.
According to Playboy, the rankings are created using data like access to nightlife and musical events and creativity in planning parties and events.
The 2014 roundup, which is in the October issue of the magazine, is the Playboy's ninth.
