Penn State, Auburn To Play Home-And-Home Series

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's not often you see a Big Ten power face an SEC power.

Well, on Monday, Penn State and Auburn announced the two schools will play a home-and-home series in 2021 and 2022.

The first game will be held in State College on September 18th, 2021.

The two teams have only faced each other twice, but never in the regular season. Penn State defeated Auburn to win the 1996 Outback Bowl and the Tigers returned the favor in the 2003 Capital One Bowl.
