Penn Loses Close One To Dartmouth 67-62

HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Tommy Carpenter scored seven of his career-high 13 points in the final 4:45 to help Dartmouth pull away and beat Pennsylvania 67-62 on Saturday night.

Carpenter made a layup and Alex Mitola hit a 3 to give the Big Green a 56-55 lead with 3:49 left. The Quakers' Darien Nelson-Henry answered with a layup before Carpenter converted a three-point play and Mitola hit a jumper to make it 61-57 with 2:16 to play.

Nelson-Henry made a pair of free throws, then Mitola and Carpenter hit back-to-back jumpers to pushDartmouth's lead to 65-59 with :54 left, and the Big Green held on for the win.

Mitola scored 18 points, Gabas Maldunas had 12 points and Connor Boehm chipped in 10 for Dartmouth (10-14, 3-7 Ivy League).

Nelson-Henry finished with 12 points, and Antonio Woods added 11 with six assists for Penn (7-16, 2-7).
