Authorities: Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Chester Hit-and-Run

CHESTER, Pa., (CBS) – A pedestrian was struck and killed in Chester, Delaware County, authorities say.

The incident was reported around 8 p.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of East 9th Street.

The victim was reportedly struck by two vehicles. One of them remained on the scene, police, say, and the other drove off.

The fleeing vehicle is believed to be a black Chevy Impala. Police are still searching for the driver.

No charges are expected for the driver who remained on the scene, police say.
