Pedestrian Struck And Killed By SEPTA Shuttle Bus In Montgomery County

GLENSIDE, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a SEPTA shuttle bus in Glenside, Montgomery County.

It happened around 1 p.m. Saturday near Glenside Avenue and Limekiln Pike.

Authorities say the man was struck and became pinned underneath the bus.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no passengers on board the bus at the time of the accident.

SEPTA officials said the shuttle bus was in service due to track work on the Warminster Regional Rail Line.

The accident is under investigation.
