25-Year-Old Woman In Extremely Critical Condition After Being Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver In Oak Lane, Philly Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are looking for the driver who critically injured a woman in a hit-and-run in the city's Oak Lane neighborhood. Investigators say a car hit the 25-year-old just before 4 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of East Cheltenham Avenue, then left the scene.

Police say the woman was traveling on Cheltenham Avenue when she struck three parked cars. When she got out to see what she hit she was struck by a vehicle speeding on Cheltenham Avenue.

Medics rushed the woman to Albert Einstein Hospital where she was placed in extremely critical condition.

Police are looking for a dark-colored sedan.
