Pedestrian Critical After Being Struck By SEPTA Bus In Port Richmond

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a pedestrian was critically injured after they were struck by a SEPTA Bus Saturday afternoon in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia.

This happened just before 3 p.m. near the intersection of Allegheny and Aramingo Avenues.

Police say this happened after the 58-year-old victim ran into the street before being run over by at least one wheel of the bus. He was taken to Temple Hospital where he is listed in extremely critical condition.

Nobody on the bus was injured.

Police and SEPTA officials are investigating.
