PECO: Some Customers Still Without Power After High Winds On Christmas

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — PECO is still working to restore power to some customers after high winds turned off the lights all across the Delaware Valley on Monday.

PECO says, as of Tuesday afternoon, there are still about 36 outages, and that number is down from 7,400 outages at its peak on Christmas, with majority living in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery counties.

Atlantic City Electric reported around 2,000 people were without power just north of Cape May, New Jersey on Monday.

It's not clear how long it will take for the remaining homes and businesses to get their power back.
