PATCO To Resume Normal Service After Power Issue Forced Closure Of Locust Street Stations

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Normal service will resume on PATCO after a power issue forced the closure of the Locust Street stations.
SERVICE UPDATE: The repair work by SEPTA has been completed and we will resume our normal service beginning with the 4:12PM EB out of 15th/16th and Locust. We sincerely appreciate your patience during this service disruption. Thanks for riding!

All PATCO Locust Street stations were closed beginning at 2 p.m. at 9th, 12th and 15th Streets while repair work was being made.
✅All stations have reopened. During the PM rush hour, trains will be departing from 15th/16th and Locust approximately every 5-6 minutes ✅

However, PATCO announced shortly after 4 p.m. that normal service will resume after the repair work was completed. Normal service will begin with the 4:12 p.m. eastbound train out of the 15th/16th Street station.
SEPTA says crews were doing scheduled maintenance work when a power line was accidentally damaged.
