By David Madden

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- PATCO officials have made a couple changes in their overhaul plans for the tracks across the Ben Franklin Bridge, to make things a little easier on commuters.

The 103 million dollar project is on time and on budget. They were about to go to the next step, according to DRPA CEO John Hanson.

PATCO's decided to finish up all the work on the south side tracks now, then move onto the north side . That means just one project-related schedule change in early July.

They've also reduced those lengthy delays when they do go to single tracking from midday Thursday through the weekend.

The delays are down to 15 minutes instead of closer to a half hour.
