PA Turnpike Reduces Speed Limit Due To Winter Weather Conditions

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Pennsylvania Turnpike officials say the speed limit has been temporarily lowered due to winter weather conditions on the roadway.

Speeds have been reduced to 45 mph on all PA Turnpike sections including:

· The east-west mainline Turnpike (I-76, I-70/76 and I-276)

· The Northeastern Extension (I-476)

· All PA Turnpike extension roadways in southwestern PA.

Officials say crews will continue to treat the roadway until the precipitation ends.
