PA State Police Lift Shelter In Place Order As Manhunt Continues

BLOOMING GROVE, Pa. (CBS) - Pennsylvania State Police have lifted their shelter in place order as they continue to search for Eric Frien --  the suspect wanted for killing a state trooper and injuring another during an ambush last week.

Police are allowing residents in Barrett and Price Townships in Monroe County to move back into the area, but urge all residents to use extreme caution. They suggest residents stay in their homes.

Troopers continue their search for Frein, who is still not in police custody.

Shots were fired Friday night near Frein's home, about 30 or 40 minutes from where the fatal shooting of Corporal Brian Dixon took place.

Frein has been on the FBI ten most wanted fugitives list.
