NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — A Pennsylvania man faces numerous charges after he allegedly stabbed two other Pennsylvania men during an Ultimate Fighting Championship event held in northern New Jersey.

Newark police say 36-year-old Angel Pereira of Lancaster faces aggravated assault and weapons charges stemming from Saturday night's confrontation at the Prudential Center.

The two victims were treated at a hospital for injuries that were not considered life-threatening, but further details were not disclosed. Their names also were not released, and it was not known if they knew Pereira.

A motive for the stabbings was not disclosed. Authorities say arena security officers recovered the knife used in the attack.
