Pa. Man Charged After Ex-girlfriend's Body Found In Shed

WRIGHTSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in central Pennsylvania say a man was charged with criminal homicide in the stabbing death of a former girlfriend after her body was found in a shed at his home.

Twenty-one-year-old Marcus Bordelon of Wrightsville is charged in York County in the death of 21-year-old Samantha Young.

Police said the victim's sister went to check on her and saw Bordelon "covered in blood." Investigators said Bordelon told officers that the two had fought and acknowledged having used a knife "to keep her from leaving."

Police said the woman's body was found in a locked shed on the property. Investigators said the former couple's 1-year-old child was in the house when her mother was there.

Court documents don't list an attorney for Bordelon who could offer comment on the charges.
