PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- 38-year-old Michael Gans of the 4000 block of Barnett Street, in the Wissonoming section of Philadelphia, is free on $25,000 bail after being charged with possession and distribution of child pornography and related offenses.

Gans faces a preliminary hearing tentatively set for April 21.
