Overturned Truck Forces Closure Of Busy Schuylkill On-Ramp

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Drivers who use I-76 West to get on Route 1 had to plan an alternate route Friday morning.

The Route 1 Schuylkill Expressway on-ramp was closed after a tractor-trailer hauling eggs overturned overnight.

This happened just before 1 a.m. Friday.

The 42-year-old driver of the truck was taken to Temple Hospital head and chest pains.

The road reopened around 6:30 a.m.
