One Trail Open During Otherwise Snowless Poconos Ski Season
LAKE HARMONY, Pa. (CBS) -- Many people have been happy with the warm winter we've had so far.
But the milder weather is taking a toll on ski resorts in the Poconos.
It's a far cry from last year's snowy season.
This winter- many resorts are closed.
But at Jack Frost Ski Resort- they managed to open one trail to skiers and snowboarders.

Webcams at Blue Mountain, Camelback, Spring Mountain and Shawnee all show snowless slopes.
All systems are ready to go as soon as the temperatures drop. Projected re-opening date is Wednesday, January 6th (weather permitting)

Due to rain & unseasonably warm temps, we will not be open for skiing today. As soon as colder temps return, we will restart snowmaking!

Some are reporting they've lost 20% of business so far.
But there is some good news... the colder temperatures are back and resorts are hoping to make up for the slow start to the season.
