One Injured After Car Plunges Into Darby Creek In Delaware County

HAVERFORD, Pa. (CBS) -- One person was hospitalized after a car plunged into Darby Creek in Delaware County.

It happened around 6 a.m. Saturday along the 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike near Hilltop Road in Haverford Township.

Police say a car went through a fence and into the creek.

One person was taken to Presbyterian Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The car was removed from the water.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
