One Dead In Fiery Crash On New Jersey Turnpike

CRANBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - All lanes have reopened on the New Jersey Turnpike following emergency repairs more than ten hours after a fiery tractor-trailer crash killed one person.

The crash, involving three tractor-trailers, happened Tuesday night in the northbound outer roadway just north of Interchange 8 in Cranbury Township.

The northbound truck lanes between Interchanges 6 and 8 were closed into Wednesday morning while workers repaired damage to the road and state troopers conducted their investigation. The northbound car lanes were open, but drivers faced delays.

State police have not released the name of the victim or said what caused the crash.
