Arson Suspect In Custody After Fire In Ogontz Home Leaves Man In Critical Condition

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Police have one person in custody this morning, suspected of starting a fire in the Ogontz section of Philadelphia that left a man in critical condition.

The fire department responded just before 2am to the 1600 block of West Nedro Avenue, where the fire started in the back of the home.

There's no word yet on the identity of the suspect or a motive for starting the fire.

The victim in a man in his 50s. He's being treated for smoke inhalation.
