Okafor, Grant Named To 2016 USA Select Team
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Jahlil Okafor and Jerami Grant of the Philadelphia 76ers were both named to the 2016 USA men's select team.
Okafor, Grant, and 23 other selected players will train with the 2016 USA Basketball Men's National Team in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 18th to July 21st.
Villanova's Jay Wright, along with Ime Udoka of the San Antonio Spurs, will serve as assistants to Greg Popovich who will oversee the Men's select team.
The select team began in 2007 and included all-star players like Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, and Paul George.
