Officials: Man Struck, Killed By Train In Delaware County

HAVERFORD Twp., Pa., (CBS) -- SEPTA officials say a man was struck and killed by a southbound Norristown High Speed Line train in Haverford Township, Delaware County.

Officials say it happened at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday near Township Line Station.

Shuttle buses operated between 69th Transportation Center and Wynnewood Road Station.

Shortly after 9 p.m., SEPTA said normal train service on the Norristown High Speed Line had resumed.

The incident remains under investigation.
