Officials: Person Struck, Killed By Train In Bucks County

CROYDON, Pa., (CBS) -- AMTRAK says one person was killed after being struck by train on the Northeast corridor in Croydon Thursday. Service on SEPTA's Trenton line has been suspended until further notice as a result.

AMTRAK says it happened around 3:30 p.m. when Train 186 struck a person on the tracks near the Torresdale station.

Three hundred forty-seven people were on the train and were not injured. Those passengers were transferred onto another train which continued to New York.

A police investigation into the death is continuing.
