Officials Investigate Fatal Crash In Horsham
HORSHAM Twp., Pa. (CBS) -- The Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office and Horsham Township Police are investigating a crash that killed a 25-year-old Quakertown man Sunday.
Erik Detweiler was in the passenger seat of a Hyundai that was making a left onto County Line Road from northbound Route 611. That's when the car was hit by a tractor trailer heading south on 611.
Detweiler was killed and the driver of the car was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators are reconstructing the crash and analyzing the blood of both the Hyundai driver and the driver of the tractor trailer to see if alcohol or drugs were involved.
