Officials: Firefighter Injured After Flames Rip Through South Philadelphia Rowhome
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Flames rip through a rowhome in South Philadelphia injuring a firefighter. The flames broke out on the 2300 block of South Bucknell Street shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday.
A woman and two children were inside but managed to get out safely.
Crews arrived and quickly placed the fire under control.
About 60 PFD members responded to a rowhouse fire early this morning near 24th & Wolf in South Philly. It was placed under control at 1:47 a.m., about an hour after companies arrived. One firefighter was injured, treated and released. #24x7x365 pic.twitter.com/6VDGCUq7st

We're told at least four houses were evacuated, and three homes are damaged.
Officials say the firefighter who was injured was treated at the hospital and released.
There is no word on how he was injured.
