Officials Arrest 8 'Deadbeat' Parents In Local Raid

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Montgomery County and Philadelphia officials conducted an overnight raid that resulted in multiple arrests.

Those arrested are eight parents who are accused of being late on child support payments.

The parents owed support to Montgomery County children, but their last known addresses were within Philadelphia city limits.

One of the defendants is said to have owed nearly $50,000 for two children.
