NJ Officer's Act Of Kindness Liked By Hundreds On Social Media

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ (CBS) – A trooper's act of kindness to a woman last week has earned hundreds of Facebook likes and dozens of shares.

Marie Rodriguez-DeGuliz posted to the Monmouth County Police, Fire and EMS Facebook page that her sister Madeline was pulled over by a New Jersey State Police officer last week and the officer was 'incredibly kind' to Madeline, who recently had hip replacement surgery and lost her son suddenly.

Marie writes, "The trooper was incredibly kind and understanding when she broke down explaining why she was back to driving and her emotional time these past few weeks."
