Officer Injured In Motorcycle Accident On I-95 In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A police officer was injured Sunday evening in a motorcycle accident on I-95 in Philadelphia.

This happened just before 6 p.m. in the northbound lanes near Academy Road.

The unidentified officer was assigned to highway patrol. He was taken to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
