Off-Duty Police Officer, Bartender Stabbed in Center City

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Investigators say an off-duty police officer and a bartender were stabbed Thursday night in Center City.

The incident was reported around 11 p.m. in the 200 block of South Camac Street.

Investigators say the off-duty officer was stabbed three times and the second victim, a bartender, was stabbed in the chin.

The officer remains hospitalized in stable condition.  The bartender was treated and released.

No arrests have been made at this time.  Investigators describe the suspect as a white male in his 30's.

Philadelphia Police are investigating.
