Ocean City Woman Strangled To Death, Autopsy Reveals

OCEAN CITY, NJ (CBS) --A woman in Ocean City was strangled to death, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office has announced.

Police found the woman on Saturday dead in her apartment on the 900 block of Wesley Avenue. She has been identified as 54-year-old Denise Webber.

On Saturday, police announced an arrest in the killing, charging Webber's boyfriend, 49-year-old Paul Kline, with first degree murder, second degree aggravated assault, and third degree endangering an injured victim.

An autopsy report released on Sunday has revealed that Webber's cause of death has been certified as strangulation and the manner of death has been classified as a homicide.

Kline is scheduled for his first appearance tomorrow, by video, at 1 p.m. in Cape May County.
