Driver Loses Tire, Crashes Into Wall In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A driver is recovering after authorities say he crashed a Corvette after a wheel popped off the car in Northeast Philadelphia. This happened near Welsh Road and Tolbut Street.
The driver lost the front left tire. Philadelphia police told CBS3 he hit several parked cars and a utility pole before crashing into a wall.
He is currently in stable condition.
