Overturned Vehicle Snarls Traffic On Northeast Extension In Montgomery Co.

SALFORD Twp., Pa. (CBS) -- Chopper 3 was over the scene of an overturned vehicle on the Northeast Extension.

The accident occurred Monday between Quakertown and Lansdale in Salford Township, Montgomery County.

Authorities say the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-476 and the car went off the road and overturned.

Both directions of the Northeast Extension were temporarily closed for medics, but reopened just before 6 p.m. Monday.
