NJ Worker Accused Of Using State Computer To View Child Porn

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Prosecutors say a New Jersey Labor and Workforce Development Department employee used a state computer to view child pornography.

Authorities say 64-year-old Kevin Smith of Westmont had more than 100 files stored on disks and a thumb drive in his cubicle.

Smith was suspended in June and subsequently retired.

Smith is charged with possession of 100 or more files of child pornography. It's not known if he has a lawyer.
