NJ Woman Accused Of Shooting Her Husband Over Workplace Dispute

WOODBURY, N.J. (AP) — Authorities have accused a woman of shooting her co-worker husband over a job-related dispute in their southern New Jersey home.

Police say 53-year-old Pamela Maddox shot her 44-year-old husband Teddy twice in the right shoulder Tuesday night at their home on in Monroe Township.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office says Teddy Maddox wrestled the gun away from his wife and fled to a neighbor's house. The neighbor called police.

Teddy Maddox was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was in stable condition.

Pamela Maddox was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses. It's not known is she has a lawyer who can comment on the charges.

The couple work at a laboratory in Pennsylvania.
