Domestic Dispute Erupts Into Attempted Murder In Burlco

PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, N.J., (CBS) -- A Cherry Hill woman is held on $1 million cash bail, charged with trying to set a Burlington County home on fire last weekend.

There was a restraining order against 25-year-old Annie Ngo, but police in Pemberton Township say she approached a residence where her four-year-old son lived, along with Ngo's former boyfriend and his mom.

"The male inside the house saw a female outside of the house pouring something that appeared to be out of a jug or a gasoline container," police Lt. Brian Wechkus told KYW Newsradio. "When he called to her, she fled on foot."

Police caught up with her quickly and took her into custody without incident. No one was injured.

Ngo is being held in the Burlington County Jail, facing charges topped by three counts of attempted murder, along with attempted arson and child endangerment.
