Woman Injured In Accident Involving NJ Transit Bus

MILLVILLE, N.J. (CBS) – A woman was injured after sources say she rear-ended a NJ Transit bus on Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 4 p.m. in the 2400 block of West Main Street.

NJ Transit officials say a Route 553 bus with 21 people on board was involved in the crash.

Sources tell CBS3 that the bus was stopped for a school bus dropping off kids when the driver rear-ended the bus.

The woman was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
