NJ State Trooper Injured In Motor Vehicle Accident

BUENA, N.J. (CBS) -- New Jersey officials announced that a state trooper was injured following a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday night.

The incident took place around 7:40 p.m. in Buena, Atlantic County.

The New Jersey State Police say the trooper sustained a lower leg injury after being T-boned by another car at the intersection of U.S. 40 and Route 54.

The trooper was taken to Vineland Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car that hit the trooper does not appear to be injured according to officials.
