NJ Police Looking For Vandals Who Stole American Flag From Outside Food Store

GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- Police in New Jersey are looking for three suspects they say ripped an American flag off the front of a food store in Gloucester City and then stole the flag.

The incident was caught on surveillance video.

According to officials, three males were walking east on the 500 block of Monmouth Street around 2:15 a.m. Thanksgiving morning when one of the men ripped the American flag off the front of Express Food Market and took the flag. Authorities say the wall was also damaged when the flag holder was pulled from it.

Police identified the man who stole the flag as the individual pictured right in the surveillance photo above.

Anyone who recognizes either of the men in the photo or has any other info on the incident is being asked to call city detectives at 856-456-7797.
