NJ Man Indicted On Murder Charge In Girlfriend's Stabbing Death

WOODBURY, N.J. (AP) — A southern New Jersey man accused of fatally stabbing his girlfriend last year has been indicted on murder charges.

Rocco Carsillo also faces charges of theft, receiving stolen property and weapons offenses in the death of 50-year-old Margaret Ann DePietro. The 56-year-old West Deptford Township man's faces a lengthy prison term if convicted on all counts.

Gloucester County prosecutors have said the pair had been in a relationship since 2003 and had a history of domestic violence.

Her body was found in March 2014 in her West Deptford apartment by a family member and friend who became concerned when they couldn't contact her. She died from multiple stab wounds.
