NJ Dog Found Severely Bitten Continues Recovery

TRENTON, Nj. (CBS) -- The Trenton Animal Shelter is looking for the public's help in identifying a dog that was recently found.

The Hamilton Township Animal Shelter posted about Carlton, earlier this week and provided an update today on their Facebook page.

The shelter said that Carlton was found with severely bitten around the head, face and neck. He was found in the Franklin Park area and is approximately 10-months-old.

On Thursday, Carlton was moved to a local animal hospital and will be going to Animal Alliance of New Jersey in Lambertville.

The shelter is urging anyone who might be interested in adopting the dog, or donating for his care, to contact the Animal Alliance of New Jersey.
