NJ Brothers Accused Of Killing Housemate, Burying Him In Backyard

LUMBERTON Twp., NJ (CBS) -- Two Burlington County brothers are behind bars, charged with killing a housemate and burying him in the backyard.

The county prosecutor and Lumberton Township police say 27-year-old Christopher Costello and 24-year-old Bryan Costello are charged with murder in the first degree, and are being held on half a million dollars bail each, no ten percent.

The arrests came after police began investigating a missing persons case involving Justin DuBois who lived at the Costello's home on Spencer Court.

He had not been heard from since last Thursday, October 27th.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the home and found a spot in the backyard that looked like it had been dug up recently.

That's where they found DuBois' body.

An autopsy is being conducted.

The motive for the crime is still uncertain.
