Night Market Street Food Festival Attracts Thousands To Old City

By Justin Udo

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Food trucks, restaurants and vendors took over Old City Philadelphia on Thursday night as part of their Night Market program.

KYW's Justin Udo was there taking in the sights, sounds and food.

From crab cakes and sweet potato fries, to corn on the cob and an assortment of chicken dishes there was no shortage of aromas that filled the air throughout the festival, that stretched down 3rd and Arch streets.

And just about everybody had their heart set on one dish or another.

The thousands that packed streets were treated to a live music performance, a photo booth as well as a ticket raffle.

If you missed out on the Old City Night Market don't worry -- the Night Market is coming to Chinatown, West Oak Lane and to 35th and Lancaster Avenue.
