READING, P.A., (CBS) -- Dare we get excited about the Phillies' future? If you're paying attention to the team's farm system, you might be.

Nick Williams, one of the prospects acquired in the Cole Hamels trade, shined in Reading on Wednesday.

Williams went 4-4 with two home runs in Readings 11-1 win over the Trenton Thunder.

Williams went deep in the 4th inning with a two-run home run and added a solo home run in the 6th inning. For the night he had three runs batted in and five runs scored.

The outfielder also hit a double in the eighth inning. The performance backed up a strong debut for Williams who had two hits in his debut on Tuesday.

Williams wasn't the lone Fightin' Phil to shine on Wednesday night. Catcher Andrew Knapp also homered twice and Chase Utley finished the night with three hits as he continues rehab appearances.
