NFL Teams Facing Thousands Of Unsold Playoff Tickets, Eagles Sold Out

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – While national announcers always find a moment to mention "snowballs at Santa Claus," they should also find some time to mention the fact that Eagles fans are packing the stadium much more quickly than their playoff counterparts.

While available tickets for Saturday night's home playoff game against the Saints sold out in minutes, games in Green Bay, Cincinnati and Indianapolis are still a long way away from a sell out. If the teams don't sell the games out, the cities could be facing television blackouts.

According to an ESPN report, as of Wednesday afternoon, about 7,500 tickets remained for the Packers Sunday playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers, 5,500 tickets remained for the Colts' Saturday game against the Chiefs, and more than 8,000 remain for the Bengals game against the Chargers.
