NEXT Weather: Thursday is the pick of the week

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The below-average temperatures continue Thursday, but the skies will be a bit clearer than Wednesday.

We'll get into the upper 50s or low 60s, but a sprinkle or shower is possible. There are lower temperatures at the Shore after morning showers.

Friday midday, there will be rain - up to several inches of precipitation into the night and into the early hours of Saturday morning.

Sunday it will be overcast and misty for the Broad Street Run, and a light sprinkle is possible, but likely nothing heavy enough to greatly impact the race.

No steady rain is expected until Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.  

Then late Sunday into Monday, we could see another rainmaker.

We are keeping an eye on flooding chances and will keep you updated.

Next week, we could see another blast of cold air.
