Temple Fox School Of Business Ranked 8th For Entrepreneurship

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- New rankings released on Tuesday puts Temple University in the Top 10 and it has nothing to do with football.

Princeton Review's annual list of the top 25 schools in the country for entrepreneurship studies ranks Temple's Fox School of Business number 8 for undergrad and number 10 for graduate-level.

Fox School Dean Dr. Moshe Porat says they've been ranked before but not like this.

"It's the first time that both undergraduate and graduate programs are in the Top 10 in the nation. We have been top 15, top 20."

The University touts its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute, which puts together competitions like the Be Your Own Boss Bowl, which offers big cash prizes for business plans that impress. And Porat says the spirit of entrepreneurship isn't just confined to one school.

"Students in the arts, or science, or in music, or in liberal arts or in the business school, everyone can think of themselves as a potential entrepreneur."

Lehigh University is also ranked. They're number 22 among undergraduate programs.
