NJ Transit Resumes Normal Weekend Schedule After Temporarily Suspending Service From New York City To Newark

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) -- New Jersey Transit says they have resumed a normal weekend schedule after train service was temporarily suspended Friday between Newark and New York City. NJ Transit blamed a union dispute for the issues.

A spokesperson said the number of engineers who called out of work Friday was nearly triple the rate of an average week-day.

They called this an "illegal action" by the union.
